First Soccer Game

Maggie had her first soccer game today, and it was so much fun!!!

Maggie is playing Upward soccer and is on the Lady Pandas. Her first game was at noon. We arrived at 11:30 and met up with her team to do stretches and get organized. The Lady Pandas played the Lady Foxes today. Many of Maggie's friends from ballet and the neighborhood are on the Foxes so Mommy and Daddy got to cheer for both teams. The cutest thing was to see Maggie hug Kacey after Kacey scored a goal.

Maggie played really well. She kept her eye on the ball and got in there to get it away from the other team. The most amazing thing to watch was her almost instinctual defensive play - circling around behind the ball and getting between the ball and her goal.

Maggie had her own cheering section - Grandma, Gramps, Uncle Bill, Ella, Will, Aunt Cheryl, Landry, and Ayden were all there to cheer for her and the team. It was a lot of fun and brought back many memories to Mommy of years ago cheering for the brothers.

We're looking forward to seven more games!

Easter Bunny Time

The Easter Bunny visited Maggie a day early as he knew that Easter morning is a little crazy around the House of Hills.  He hid the eggs that Maggie had dyed the night before.  He also sent Maggie on a crazy scavenger hunt to find her actual Easter basket.

Maggie did an amazing job reading her clues all by herself and raced around the house to find the plastic eggs.  Mommy and Daddy were very proud of her.

Thanks Easter Bunny for a fun morning.
